[2012]The Banker: "Bank of the Year China"


 

Recently, results of the Banks of the Year 2012 held by the British magazine The Banker were announced, and Bank of China won the title of Bank of the Year China 2012 owing to its outstanding performance in the sector of global financial services. This is the third time that Bank of China wins the honor.

Attached to the British Financial Times Group, The Banker is an authoritative international financial media and provides comprehensive financial information for financial decision-makers in the banking sector and the business community worldwide. It annually releases the lists of the Regional Banks of the Year and the Top 1,000 World Banks, which are recognized as measurements for assessing the comprehensive strengths of global banks.

As the most internationalized and diversified Chinese bank continuously operating for a century, Bank of China has been ranked among the Fortune 500 companies for 24 years, and stands out as the only financial institution in emerging economies that has been ranked as one of the Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions for two consecutive years.
