The Republic of China - National Currency Notes of Shanghai (1925)


 

In June 1925, Bank of China issued a ten-yuan national currency note of Shanghai which was printed by the American Bank Note Company in 1924. In 1925,  it also issued the lengthwise national currency notes of Shanghai in fractional denominations of 10 cents, 20 cents and 50 cents printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited, London.  In 1926,  it issued a five-yuan national currency note of Shanghai printed by American Bank Note Company.
