The Republic of China - National Currency Notes of Shanghai with the Design of Temple of Heaven and the Portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1935)


 

In 1935, Bank of China issued a one-yuan national currency note of Shanghai printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited, London; in the same year, it issued a five-yuan national currency note of Shanghai and one without place name printed by Thomas De la Rue & Co., Ltd.
