Bank of China Secondary Vocational Education Students Aid Card

Introduction

Bank of China issued the Secondary Vocational Education Students Aid Card (SVE Card for short) across the country to speed up the development of secondary vocational education and attract more teenagers to secondary vocational education in response to the need of the national economy and social development for quality work force and skilled talents under the national policies on subsidizing secondary vocational education students. The card is also designed to help regulate the grant, management and supervision of national financial aid for secondary vocational education.

Bank of China SVE card is issued to secondary vocational education students who enjoy the National Grants Policy as special debit card for National Grant-in-aid.

SVE card follows "one person for one card, focused application and personal activation" principal. One aid-receiving student can apply for only one SVE card.

Functions

With such features of Bank of China Great Wall debit card as safety, accuracy, convenience and speed, the SVE card also provides grant-in-aid service to secondary vocational education students in addition to deposit and withdrawal, transfer, consumption payment, bill payment, investment and wealth management, online banking, SMS service and other basic functions of Bank of China Great Wall debit card.

Procedure

The school or student grant-in-aid management authorities shall provide student information and copy of valid identity document (generally including resident ID card, or Hukou book in some particular circumstances) to the bank through the secondary vocational education information management system or vocational school management system. The school or student grant-in-aid management authorities shall be responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of student's identity information.

Notes: According to requirements for real-name account opening, aid-receiving students who can not apply for SVE card for absence of domiciliary or identity certification shall provide relevant certification issued by relevant local authority of the home place, and their schools will collectively apply to student grant-in-aid management authorities at the same level for national secondary vocational education grant-in-aid by special means.

Preferential Policy

1. No card issuance fees will be charge, no will annual fees be charged for three years after the issuance date;

2. Free SMS notification for three years after the issuance.

Tips

1. For account safety, customers are recommended to keep properly the SVE card password and guard against shoulder surfing and theft during usage.

2. By SVE card and the password, customers can withdraw cash on ATMs with a daily maximum accumulative amount of RMB 20,000. Without overdraft function, the card has no payment limit at the bank's appointed partners.

3. In the event of card is loss or damage, the concerned student shall personally apply for loss report and replacement at a Bank of China outlet with the original of valid personal identity document according to relevant regulations and promptly notify the school of the new card information.

4. After the preferential period of three years, SVE card has to be replaced by another debit card in case of loss or damage.
