Statement on the Use of Proceeds of Bank of China’s July 2016 Offshore Green Bond (as of 31st Mar., 2017)

Bank of China Limited (“BOC”) hereby confirms that as of March 31^st 2017, the proceeds of BOC’s July 2016 offshore Green Bond is allocated in alignment with Bank of China Limited Green Bond Management Statement released by BOC in July 2016. As long as BOC’s July 2016 offshore Green Bond is outstanding, more detailed information on the allocation of proceeds and the environmental performance will be disclosed on BOC’s official website prior to the end of April each year.
