Bank of China Limited (“BOC”) plans to issue its fourth Green Bond in the offshore market in the near term. BOC has updated Bank of China Limited Green Bond Management Statement to Bank of China Limited Sustainability Series Bonds Management Statement, to demonstrate how BOC will issue offshore Green Bonds in alignment with the Green Bond Principles, 2017 in terms of the use of proceeds, project evaluation and selection, management of proceeds, and reporting, and that all the net proceeds of its offshore Green Bonds issuances will be used to fund new and existing green projects with environmental benefits.
