LI Jun
Chairman of the Board of Supervisors

Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the Bank since March 2010 and Vice Party Secretary of the Bank since December 2009. Mr. LI has served in several positions in Bank of Communications, including Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President from September 2006 to December 2009, Vice President from November 2000 to August 2006, Executive Director from June 2000 to December 2009, Controller General from April 1998 to April 2001, and Vice President and President of the Wuhan Branch of Bank of Communications from October 1990 to April 1998. Mr. LI is a senior economist and received a Master’s degree in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1995.

WANG Xueqiang

Supervisor

Director General Supervisor of the Bank since August 2004 and Head of the Office of Board of Supervisors since April 2005. Mr. WANG served as Deputy Director General Supervisor and Director General Supervisor of the Bank from July 2003 to August 2004 before the Bank’s corporate restructuring. Mr. WANG served as Deputy Director General Supervisor at Agricultural Development Bank of China from October 2001 to July 2003, and worked with the Central Financial Working Commission from October 2000 to October 2001. From November 1996 to September 2000, Mr. WANG worked with Hong Kong Gang Ao International (Holdings) Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Fujian Group Limited in succession. Prior to that, Mr. WANG worked with the Ministry of Finance from August 1985 to October 1996. Mr. WANG is a senior accountant and Certified Public Accountant qualified by the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. WANG graduated from China Central University of Finance and Economics in 1985 and obtained his Doctorate in Economics from Public Finance Institute of the Ministry of Finance in 2008.

LIU Wanming

Supervisor

Deputy Director General Supervisor of the Bank since August 2004. From November 2001 to August 2004, Mr. LIU was designated by the State Council to serve as a Director Supervisor and a Deputy Director General Supervisor at Bank of Communications and the Bank. From August 1984 to November 2001, Mr. LIU worked with the National Audit Office, Agricultural Development Bank of China and the Central Financial Working Commission. Mr. LIU received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in 1984.

LI Chunyu

Employee Supervisor

Employee Supervisor of the Bank since December 2004. Since August 2000, Mr. LI has served as Chairman of the Labour Union of the Bank’s Head Office. From 1992 to July 2000, he worked in the Human Resources Department of the Bank. Mr. LI holds a Bachelor’s degree.

JIANG Kuiwei

Employee Supervisor

Employee Supervisor of the Bank since May 2008. Since 1989, Mr. JIANG has worked in the Changzhou Sub-branch of the Bank, the Taizhou Division of the PBOC and the Jiangsu Branch of the Bank. He is currently Assistant General Manager of the Jiangsu Branch of the Bank. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1989.

DENG Zhiying

Employee Supervisor

Employee Supervisor of the Bank since August 2010. Currently he serves as the General Manager of the Supervisory Department in the Bank’s Head Office. Mr. DENG has served as Deputy General Manager of the Supervisory Department in the Bank’s Head Office from July 2008 to July 2010. From June 2007 to July 2008, Mr. DENG served as a member of the Party Committee and the secretary of the Party Discipline Committee in the Tianjin Branch of the Bank. From February 2008 to July 2008, Mr. DENG also served as the Director of the Labour Union of the Bank. From June 1993 to June 2007, Mr. DENG served as an officer and Deputy Director of the System Supervisory Office of the Supervisory Department in the Bank’s Head Office, the Director of the Second Supervisory Office, the Director of the Second Office of the Supervisory Department, the Assistant General Manager of the Supervisory Department and Director of the Second Office of the Supervisory Department, the Deputy General Manager of the Supervisory Department and Director of the Second Office of the Supervisory Department, the Deputy General Manager of the Supervisory Department, the Director of the Supervisory and Inspection Department and the Deputy General Manager of the Supervisory Department. From August 1984 to June 1993, Mr. DENG served as an officer, Deputy Division-level Inspector and Deputy Director in the Third Sub-office of the First Inspection Office of the Party Discipline Committee and the Deputy Director of the Third Sub-office of the Second Inspection Office. Mr. DENG received a Bachelor’s degree in History from Nankai University in 1984.

MEI Xingbao

External Supervisor

Mr. Mei Xingbao is now a member of the Eleventh CPPCC National Committee. From October 2003 to May 2010, Mr. Mei served as Vice President and President of China Orient Asset Management Corporation. Mr. Mei previously served as Vice Mayor of ZhangJiaJie Municipal People’s Government in Hunan Province, Deputy Director General of Economic and Trade Commission of Hunan Province, Head of the Science and Education Group of the Research Office of the General Office of Central Committee of Communist Party of China, Director General of the General Office of the Financial Work Committee of Central Committee of Communist Party of China, Director General of the Propaganda Department of China Banking Regulatory Commission. Majoring in Agricultural Economy Management, Mr. Mei graduated from Renmin University of China in 1982.

BAO Guoming

External Supervisor

Ms. Bao Guoming is now Vice President and Secretary-General of China Institute of Internal Audit. In 1999 Ms. Bao was transferred to the National Audit Office and worked in several positions, including Deputy Director General, Director General of Cadres Training Center, Director General of the Administrative Audit Department. Ms. Bao was a former professor of Nankai University. She concurrently acts as a part-time professor in Nankai University, the Research Institute for Fiscal Science under the Ministry of Finance, Beijing Institute of Technology and other universities and research institutions, an executive director of the China Audit Society, and a member of the Senior Auditor Certification Examination and Review Committee of the National Audit Office. Ms. Bao is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant and an international Certified Internal Auditor and enjoys the Government Special Allowance of the State Council. Ms. Bao graduated from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics in 1985 and received a Master’s degree in Economics.
