Notice of Change to Personal Banking Terms and Conditions for Transactional and At Call Accounts, Term Deposit Accounts, Account Access Methods and Schedule of Fees and Charges (Eff.5/8/2024)

Dear Customers,

Effective from 5 August 2024, the Bank of China (Australia) Limited (BOCAL)’s Personal Banking Transactional and At Call Account Terms and Conditions (Transactional and At Call Accounts Terms and Conditions) dated 6 February 2023, Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions (Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions) dated 6 February 2023, Account Access Methods Conditions of Use (Account Access Methods Conditions of Use) dated 6 February 2023 and Schedule of Fees and Charges Terms and Conditions (Schedule of Fees and Charges) dated 23 December 2020, will be updated to ensure the consistency of financial services we provide.

This notice is applicable to customers who have not received the BOCAL’s Personal Banking Transactional and At Call Account Terms and Conditions, Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions, Account Access Methods Conditions of Use and Schedule of Fees and Charges dated 9 November 2023.

Please refer to the pdf file attached for details of the changes to BOCAL’s Personal Banking Transactional and At Call Accounts Terms and Conditions, Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions, Account Access Methods Conditions of Use and Schedule of Fees and Charges. The changes apply to the Personal Banking Transactional and At Call Accounts Terms and Conditions dated 6 February 2023, Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions dated 6 February 2023, Account Access Methods Conditions of Use dated 6 February 2023 and Schedule of Fees and Charges dated 23 December 2020, in order for them to be in line with the 9 November 2023 version. From the effective date of 5 August 2024, only the 9 November 2023 version will apply.

The current version of BOCAL’s Personal Banking Transactional and At Call Accounts Terms and Conditions, Term Deposit Accounts Terms and Conditions, Account Access Methods Conditions of Use and Schedule of Fees and Charges, all dated 9 November 2023 are available on our website at www.bankofchina.com/au or from our retail branches in Australia.
