Notice of Change to Bank of China Credit Rates and Fees (Effective from 2 July 2026)

Dear Customers,
To provide you with high-quality service, we have revised the current version (dated 29 December 2018) of the Bank of China (Australia) Limited’s Credit Card Rates and Fees, which will take effect on 2 July 2026.
This revision involves changes to our bank card products and functions, primarily including:
1. Mobile Banking QR Code Payment
This applies to the Bank of China UnionPay Rewards Credit Card. In addition to the existing support for UnionPay QR codes, we have added a new function that allows you to scan Weixin Pay QR codes (excluding individual owned QR codes), make it easier for you to pay by scanning QR codes when travelling or making purchases in Mainland China.
2. WeChat Pay (also known as Weixin Pay) and Alipay Card Binding Payment
This applies to Bank of China UnionPay Rewards Credit Card and Great Wall International Mastercard Credit Card. Both card products can be bound to WeChat Pay or Alipay. After binding, you may make convenient payments at merchants that support WeChat Pay or Alipay through various payment methods, including QR code and online payments.
