[Closed]4-6 months contract, 3 positions in Head office


 

We are currently seeking highly articulate and organized individuals to fulfill some 4 month contract positions in our head office, located in Markham, ON.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a fantastic organization and to build on your professional skills.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk - Financial Management Department

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written

- Post-secondary education with Diploma/Degree in Accounting , economics or commerce

- At least 2 year experience working in Accounting role

- Proven judgment and decision-making ability with demonstrated integrity and ethical standards

- Accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft office (i.e. Excel) and other relevant application such as Simply accounting

- Prior experience in banking is considered additional asset.

Job Title: Underwriter – Risk Management Department

Requirement:

- Minimum college graduate major in Business, accounting, economics or Statistics

- Exceptional knowledge in OSFI Residential mortgage underwriting requirement

- At least 2 year experience working in Banking

- Understand the three lines of defense and Risk Appetite

- Familiarize with Small Business Loan, Personal retail lending including Residential Mortgage, HELOC and loan.

- Good knowledge in AML, ATF, appraisal report and collateral requirement

- A good negotiator with stakeholders

- Excellent reading and writing skills in Chinese and English

- Candidate must be an independent and team worker

Other clerical Positions available in Personal Banking and Operation Department

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written

- Post-secondary education with Diploma/Degree in Commerce or Economics

- Ability to perform tasks in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

- Proven judgment and decision-making ability with demonstrated integrity and ethical standards

- Accuracy and attention to detail

- Effective communication skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools and applications

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- A quick learner and team player

- Prior experience in banking, especially in credit and loan admin is considered additional assets.
