Customers may open time deposit accounts in CZK, EUR, USD and CNY separately. The periods of time deposit for CZK, USD and EUR are: one week, one month, three months, six months and twelve months. For CNY, there is only one term: one month.

The minimum balances for one week deposits in different currencies are CZK 250,000.00, EUR 10,000.00, USD 10,000.00 separately.

The minimum balances for fixed deposits for periods longer than one week in different currencies are CZK 25,000.00, USD 1,000.00, EUR 1,000.00, CNY 10,000.00.

Characteristics

1. Each item of deposit is shown in a separate account which specifies the currency code, the value date, maturity date, principal and interest rate.

2. Time deposits will be automatically renewed unless further instruction is given by the customer in writing before maturity date.

3. No interest will be paid if the funds are withdrawn before the maturity of the time deposit.
