[Closed]Notice of Bank of China Limited on Campus Recruitment 2011 (Supplement)

Regarding the 2011 Bank of China Limited ("Bank of China") campus recruitment, all the recruiting organizations are currently in the phase of signing employment contracts. For the openings newly released by some organizations, Bank of China will start a supplemental recruiting process as of today. The details are as follows:

I. Recruiting Organizations

1. Organizations directly under Bank of China Head Office: International Settlement Document Service Center (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou)

2. Domestic Tier-1 branches in the following provinces and cities: Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guizhou, Yunnan, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Chongqing, Suzhou and Ningbo.

3. Subsidiaries: Bank of China Insurance Company Limited (21 subsidiaries)

II. Scope and Qualifications

(1) Fresh graduates from domestic universities or colleges shall have graduated by the end of August 2011 with reporting card, diploma, and certificate of academic degree. Excepts for graduates of Bank of China Graduate Department or the Ministry of Finance Institute for Fiscal Research, students who are educated for a specific employer are not included.

Returning students from overseas universities or colleges (graduating between August of 2010 and July of 2011) shall have received the diploma and be able to start a full time job by the end of August 2011.

(2) Bachelor’s degree or above from higher education institutions (specifically for regular course education or graduate program). Returning students graduating from overseas universities or colleges shall have received the diploma certification from the Ministry of Education no later than one month before the end of probation period (December 31, 2011 at the latest).

(3) Required fields of study: according to the national academic classification, graduates in the following majors (Discipline) are preferable: economics (applied economics, theoretical economics), law, science (mathematics), literature (foreign language, journalism and communication), engineering (information and communications engineering, control science and engineering, computer science and technology), management (management science and engineering, business management, public management). A smaller number of graduates in other majors may also be considered based on the needs of specific recruiting organizations.

(4) Qualifications

1. Law-abiding, honest and earnest, with good personal quality and professional ethics, but no records of bad behaviors; in confirmation of Bank of China's corporate culture and values, willing to perform employee obligations and job responsibilities according to requirements of the Head Office and relevant departments. 

2. Strong learning capability, excellent teamwork spirit, communication skills, creativity and sense of responsibility.

3. Good command of English, have passed CET 4 or finished the test with a score of 425 or above.

4. Good health condition.

5. In compliance with Bank of China's nepotism avoidance clauses.

Every recruiting organization will soon announce its own requirements accordingly.

III. Procedures

1. Position announcement

All recruitment information will be announced on Bank of China’s campus recruitment website as of today. Candidates may visit it for details.

2. On-line application

As from today to 24:00, April 21, all candidates may apply through the on-line application system. They are supposed to be careful when making selections as no information can be changed once the CV is screened and selected.

Candidates who, in November, 2010, applied for positions in Bank of China’s 2011 campus recruitment but have not been selected, shall use their original user names and passwords to apply. (All application information is locked in the system by default. Any information that needs updating shall be filled out in "questions about position").

3. CV screening

All recruiting organizations will conduct CV screening in sequence during the application period. 

4. Unified written test

On April 28, 2011 (tentative), a unified written test will be held at the same time in selected cities.

5. Interview

From May, 2011, every recruiting organization will, according to its work arrangement, set its own minimum passing score in written tests and make arrangements accordingly for candidate interviews, health check and background check. Such arrangements will be announced separately once determined.

6. Employment

Candidates who meet all the requirements and have passed the written test and the interview will be formally employed with signing a three-party agreement.

IV. Notes

1. Anyone who has accepted an employment offer from any organization of Bank of China shall not apply repeatedly.

2. Candidates shall not apply for more than one position.

3. As written tests will be held in selected cities only, candidates shall select a place convenient to them in "questions about position" and make necessary arrangements accordingly.

4. Candidates shall be aware that no fees will be collected in the campus recruitment.
