[Closed]Notice of Open Recruitment of International Settlement Document Service Center

Bank of China International Settlement Document Service Center ("Document Center") is an independent accounting entity directly under Bank of China Head Office. According to the basic rules and regulations of Bank of China regarding the international settlement and trade finance business, the Document Center has centralized its international settlement document processing operation such as international settlement, trade finance and letter of guarantee previously processed at the branch level. By taking a full responsibility for the quality and efficiency of operations, the Document Center strives to ensure the delivery of a formalized and standardized international settlement and trade finance product to customers through its branches.

Due to business expansion, the Document Center is now open for public recruitment of 50 international settlement document processing professionals.

I. Positions Offered

1. Document Center (Beijing): 10 Business Managers, responsible for letter of guarantee business and import document processing.

2. Document Center (Shanghai): 28 Business Managers, responsible for import document processing.

3. Document Center (Guangzhou): 12 Business Managers, responsible for import document processing.

II. Job Description

1. Major responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day processing of Bank of China's centralized international settlement documents and trade finance operations; familiarized with industry rules and regulations, operational procedures and the development of international practices to apply in daily business operations.

Details: the issuance and cancellation of letter of guarantees, filing of claims, book keeping and other operations in the letter of guarantee business; processing and book keeping operations in import and export trade finance, factoring, forfeiting and other business; the issuance of LC, document inspection, acceptance/payment/refusal of payment, making payment, processing of collected documents, export notification, document inspection, asking for payment, foreign exchange settlement, dealing in disputes and other business operations.

2. Work location

(1) Document Center (Beijing): presently in Guanghua Chang'an Building or Bank of China Head Office Building at Xidan, and planned to move to Heishanhu office in Haidian District.

(2) Document Center (Shanghai): presently in Bank of China Building at Lujiazui of Pudong, and planned to move to Zhangjiang office in Pudong.

(3) Document Center (Guangzhou): presently in Bank of China Huangpu Branch Building on Huangpu East Road, and planned to move to Dashi office in Panyu.

3. Other information

Bank of China offers competitive compensation and benefits. The Document Center will sign employment contracts with its employees. Employees will need to work on shifts as needed.

III. Qualifications

1. Righteous and honest with strong sense of responsibility, passion for work, good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

2. Bachelor's degree or above (specifically for regular course education or graduate program). Diploma certification by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education is required for overseas candidates.

3. Experienced in international settlement or related work from banks for four years or more (four full years, the same hereinafter), or experienced in foreign trade or overseas engineering projects for four years or more with knowledge of international settlement business.

4. ICC CDSC certificates, FCI Factoring certificate, ICC China Expert Qualification Certificate, or Professional Skills Certificate issued by candidates' former employers preferred.

5. Good command of English and computer skills; good mastery of Windows desktop systems and other office systems.

6. In good health.

7. In compliance with Bank of China's nepotism avoidance clauses.

IV. How to Apply

1. Each candidate may only apply to one of the three Document Centers in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou.

2. Candidates should download and fill in the Application Form of Bank of China International Settlement Document Service Center Position (attached below) , mark the applied position, and mail it to Bank of China with copies of the candidate's ID card (or passport), academic certificate, diploma, relevant qualification certificates, achievements in professional areas and other materials.

Deadline for application: April 30, 2011, subject to the date on the postmark.

3.
