A personal term deposit account is a fixed-term savings deposit account provided by the Bank for individual customers. Customers may choose a deposit term that best suit their financial needs and will receive the applicable interest rate for the agreed deposit term.

This account is intended solely for term deposit transactions and does not support transfers, inward or outward remittances. Term deposits are subject to a minimum initial deposit requirement. No account maintenance fee is charged for this account.

Target Customer

Individual customers who have opened a personal bank account with the Bank and comply with the Bank’s eligibility requirements for relevant banking services.

Procedure

Individual customers of the Bank may apply to open a personal term deposit account at the counter of the Bank. Available applicable channels shall be subject to those provided by the Bank.
