Bank of China Rotterdam Branch provides witness service to the customers who intend to open accounts with Bank of China (Hong Kong). By choosing the account opening witness service, you can apply a Bank of China (Hong Kong) account without traveling to Hong Kong. The eligible person under the Hong Kong SAR “Scheme $6,000” can benefit from this service.
To apply the service, please come to our office in person with the following documents:
• A valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card (HKPIC). A valid HKPIC refer to a smart HKPIC issued on or after 23 June 2003.
• An original utility bill, bank statement or letter correspondent from government institutions in the Netherlands, which should reflect your name and private address in the Netherlands, and which should not be older than three months.
