Verification Service for Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit
Service Description
Bank of China (New Zealand) (hereinafter referred to as “our bank”) offers verification services to confirm the authenticity of our bank’s guarantee or standby letter of credit held by beneficiaries.
Verification Process
To initiate the verification process, the beneficiary must send a verification request via SWIFT through their company’s bank account to our bank. The message should include details of the guarantee/standby letter of credit to be verified, including but not limited to the reference number, issuing date, issuing institution, amount, validity period, etc.
In case of special circumstances, please call our customer service at +6499809000. We will promptly respond with whether the service can be processed and provide the specific procedure.
Verification Result Notification
Upon receiving a verification request via SWIFT from the beneficiary’s account bank, our bank will respond within 5 working days within the same secure channel.
Please note that verification results will not be communicated via personal employee emails, nor will results be confirmed through verbal communication.
