The Basel II requirements are international capital adequacy standards developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, known as Basel II, as implemented in Europe with the Directive 2006/48 and in Luxembourg with both the coordinated Law 1993/04/05 and the CSSF Circular 2006/273 (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) as amended.
