On March 29, 2012 morning, the Bank of China Limited, Bangkok Branch held the grand opening ceremony of the Bank of China Limited, Rayong Branch with the representative of the Chinese ambassador, Gao Wen Kuan, Economic and Commercial Counselor, as the head of the opening ceremony. Guests of honor are the President of Provincial Administration Organization of Rayong, the executives of Amata City Industrial Estate, groups of Thai and Chinese businessmen, Thai and Chinese mass media.
The representative of the Chinese ambassador, Gao Wen Kuan, together with honorable guests cut the ribbon in the opening ceremony of the new Rayong branch. Gao Wen Kuan said Bank of China had a presence in Thailand long time ago having Bangkok as the very first branch. We provide a wide range of products and services for customers in Thailand and be a part of the financial institutions that drive and make progress for Thai economy and international trade. Last year, Bank of China Limited, under General Manager of Bank of China Limited Bangkok Branch, Mr. Che Jun’s management, we have gained a remarkable achievement such as launching new products, new services, e.g. RMB business, Debit card, Credit Card and Internet Banking and etc. All these products enable customers to do the transactions smoothly and conveniently. For this reason, to open Rayong Branch, 3 months after opening Ratchada branch has proved that Bank of China has made a successful progress in Thailand.
Bank of China Limited, Rayong branch is located in Amata City Industrial Estate in Rayong province with the area of about 30 square kilometers. There are about 300 companies in this industrial estate.
