Announcement on Temporary Suspension of Some Services for System Upgrade and Maintenance on 26th October and 2nd November 2024


 

Dear Customer,

At Bank of China (UK) Limited, we are committed to providing you with the best service. To enhance our systems further, we will be conducting a scheduled system upgrade and maintenance on the following dates:

  • Saturday, 26th October 2024
  • Saturday, 2nd November 2024

During this time, some banking services may be suspended as the following table:

Service Type Impact Duration (UK Local Time) Impact Details
Personal Mobile Banking & Online Banking From 13:25 to 14:15 on 26 October 
From 12:25 to 13:15 on 2 November
Temporary interruptions in remittance services
Debit Card  From 12:30 to 13:55 on 26 October
From 11:30 to 12:55 on 2 November
Debit card transactions may experience brief timeout failures (up to 5 minutes). Customer can simply retry the transaction.

We recommend arranging your business transactions in advance to avoid any disruptions.

What you can do:

  • For critical payments, please complete them outside the maintenance period.
  • If your debit card transaction times out, please try again after a few moments.
