Personal saving account

Description

Individual customers can open saving accounts in ZAR, USD and CNY with the bank. There is no passbook for the account.

Features

Current accounts can be used for cash deposit and withdrawal, internal transfer between the accounts of the same customer or between the accounts of different customers (including the currency exchange), inward or outward remittance.

Target customer

According to South Africa regulations, South African Residents are not allowed to open foreign currency accounts except ZAR accounts.

Non-South African residents, must hold a passport and South African work visa (both in valid period)

Procedures for Account Opening

For the first current account with the bank, customers need to go to counters of the bank in person with valid identity documents (SA ID card, or foreigners with passport and valid visa etc.).
