Introduction
Bank of China Zambia Limited issues certificate of deposit for a corporate customer with a specific deposit account at the Branch.

Procedure
1. Customers shall submit the written application to the Business Department of Bank of China Zambia Limited. For customers who have signed the agreement on authorization of fax communication with Bank of China Zambia Limited, application submitted via fax is acceptable.
2. Bank of China Zambia Limited will not issue the certificate of deposit before check of customer's signatures and confirmation of account balance.
Required Documents
A application form is required for the customers of Bank of China Zambia Limited.
For the applicants who are not customers of Bank of China Zambia Limited, they shall open an account before submitting the written application.
Tips
1. The certificate of deposit verifies the book balance in the account on the working day previous to the certificate issuing date or on a day specified by the customer.
2. Bank of China Zambia Limited will issue the certificate of deposit according to the actual currency in the customer's account.
3. The certificate of deposit can not be used as an economic guarantee, and it can not be transferred or pledged.
4. If the certificate of deposit is lost, Bank of China Zambia Limited will not accept the loss report or return the relevant handling fees.
