In 1919, national currency notes of the Northeast (Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces) and Harbin with the denominations of one yuan, five yuan, and ten yuan, printed by the Bureau of the Engraving and Printing of Ministry of Finance, were issued together with the said national currency notes in five cents, ten cents, and 50 cents to circulate in Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces.
