The Republic of China - Redeemable Notes Bearing the Portrait of Li Hongzhang (1914)


 

In 1914, Bank of China re-issued the transformed Li Hongzhang redeemable notes as Bank of China redeemable notes for circulation in Zhili. It was the last time for it to issue the Bank of Great Qing banknotes in the name of Bank of China.
