China's First International Credit Card


 

 Great Wall International Card (V1)

Issuance Time:1988
Basic Introduction:After joining Visa International and MasterCard International, Bank of China sped up its pace of overseas business expansion. It became the first domestic bank to launch a foreign exchange credit card, the Great Wall international card (V1). This MasterCard card could be used at over 10 million appointed partners in more than 200 countries and regions, in line with the needs of Chinese traveling abroad and expatriates working for foreign companies in China or living in China. It was the first step for China's credit cards to go global.

Basic Introduction:Bank of China issued the Great Wall international card (V3) in 1991.
Card Face Description:The card presents an overlook of the Great Wall wandering along mountains.
