Marine Survey


 

Introduction

Marine survey is the service provided by Bank of China for its customers to verify the bill of lading and to make enquiries about the ship's route, status and shipment of goods.

Functions

Help customers to prevent and find out fraud in sea freight trade so as to protect their interests.

Features

Marine survey enables to confirm if the bill of lading is authentic, track the whole process of delivery, acceptance and shipping of goods, prevent fraud risks, and increase the transparency and safety of trade.

Target Customers

Customers who wish to track the whole process of delivery, acceptance and shipping of goods so as to prevent fraud risks and protect their interests.

Charges

Subject to the fee rate of Bank of China's London branch.

Process

1. The customer applies for marine survey service to Bank of China based on the trading and specific needs;

2. Bank of China conducts marine survey as required by the customer;

3. Bank of China works out the marine survey report and submits it to the customer.
