Bank of China Limited (“BOC”) plans to issue its third Green Bonds in the offshore markets in the near term. BOC has amended Bank of China Limited Green Bond Management Statement to demonstrate how BOC will issue offshore Green Bonds in alignment with the Green Bond Principles, 2017 in terms of the use of proceeds, project evaluation and selection, management of proceeds, and reporting, and that all the net proceeds of its offshore Green Bonds issuances will be used to fund new and existing green projects with environmental benefits.
