BOC Prestigious Wealth Management - Financial Consultancy Service in Investment Immigration (Permanent Residence) (hereinafter referred to as “Cross-border Permanent Residence Service”) is a series of consultant services targeting high net-value clients who have a demand for cross-border permanent residence, including consultancy on overseas policies, investment, risk management and landing arrangements. Currently, oversea branches of BOC that have obtained the qualification for Cross-border Permanent Residence Service includes the following: Bank of China (Hong Kong), Bank of China International, Bank of China Singapore Branch, Bank of China (UK), Bank of China (Canada) and Bank of China (Australia).
BOC’s domestic branches and overseas branches work hand in hand with outstanding and qualified immigration agencies to provide clients with the following services:
1. Overseas policies consultation: to explain investment policies of various countries for risk prevention.
2. Investment consultation: providing financial services in asset allocation, wealth planning, overseas tax planning and application for loan in purchasing cross border real estate, during the immigration application process and after landing.
3. Bank financial services: providing witness service for overseas account opening, issuing certificates of deposit, handling foreign exchange for individuals, etc.
4. Preferential charges of immigration agencies: for clients that need assistance of an immigration agency, BOC recommends outstanding agencies with preferential charges.
Opening Procedures
1. Clients with such demand can consult the BOC branches with their local private banking service or call 95566 for initial consultation.
2. After the initial consultation, the domestic branch of BOC will arrange a telephone meeting between the overseas branch in the target immigration (permanent residence) destination and the client. As of now, the target countries and regions where the above service is available includes: Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, etc.
3. In case the client shows clear intention, BOC will arrange meetings between the immigration agency, lawyer, tax accountant and other staff from professional institutions for further discussion upon the requirement of the client.
4. During the application process, various domestic and overseas financial services are offered to facilitate the client’s preparation of all documents in the “one-stop manner”. Furthermore, BOC also provides customized investment planning, global assets allocation planning, and other services. Site visits to the target immigration destination can be arranged according to the clients’ requirement and their circumstances at the time being. .
5. After the application is approved, the landing service will be arranged.

Cross-border Permanent Residence Service is only available in areas where BOC has an overseas branch, and the service in the required country or region may be adjusted in line with the changes in the local immigration policies.
