Kind Reminder
1. Why the telegraphic transfer you received is sometimes less than the originally remitted amount?
If there is a reciprocal account between the remitting bank and Bank of China, the payment will reach Bank of China in full amount. However, most of the remitting banks have no account of Bank of China, so the payment must be transferred through one or several intermediary banks to reach Bank of China. Each intermediary bank will deduct a sum of handling charge from the remittance amount while doing the transfer business. Therefore, the telegraphic transfer amount you received may be less than the originally remitted amount.
2. The remittance usually takes three to seven working days.
