4. Terms and Conditions

4.1  General Terms and Conditions

4.1.1 Only credit card transactions made overseas are eligible for this promotion program.

4.1.2 Gift points to be rewarded will be credited to BOC credit card account of the winners. Winners who only hold a BOC Tri-Currency Debit Card and do not have a valid BOC Credit Card should submit their application for a BOC Credit Card at any branches of the Bank within one month of notice of the lucky draw or the Frequent Users Reward results. A second notice will be given to the customer 7-days before the end of the 1-month period. If for any reason there is any delay in the application of a credit card or in case that the customer’s application for a credit card has been rejected, the gift points will be converted into cash at a ratio as determined by the Bank and the cash will be credited to the bank account of the customer eventually.

4.1.3 Only shopping and dining sales transactions made overseas are eligible for entry to the Frequent Users Reward program. All transactions related to cash advance, financial charges, buying assets, installment plan, annual fee or late charges are excluded.

4.1.4 All cancelled/refunds/fraudulent/unrecorded transactions are not eligible for entry to the Frequent Users Reward program.

4.1.5 Winners will be notified individually and should redeem the prize within one month from the day of notification at location designated by the Bank.

4.2  Personal Accident Insurance

4.2.1 Only transactions made overseas with BOC Credit Cards are eligible for free enrollment to Personal Accident Insurance cover.

4.2.2 The insurance cover shall be effective from the date and time shown on the credit card sales slip and expired at 24:00 of the 15th day (Based on the local time of the city where the sales transaction is made and inclusive of the day of transaction.) or until the time the insured person returns to Macau and arrives at the immigration counter of Macau SAR, whichever is earlier.

4.2.3 The Personal Accident Insurance of this promotion shall include personal accident, medical expenses and hospitalization benefits.  Please contact our Relationship Manager for more details.

4.2.4 The sum insured for a customer who have settled payments with his/her Visa and/or MasterCard only while traveling overseas is MOP100,000, even though he may also hold a valid Visa, MasterCard, BOC CUP Dual Currency Card (Premium/Prestigious) and/or Panda Card.

4.2.5 The sum insured for a customer who have settled payments with his/her BOC CUP Dual Currency Card (Premium Card) while traveling overseas is MOP1,000,000. The sum insured for a customer who have settled payments with his/her BOC CUP Dual Currency Card (Prestigious Wealth Management Card) while traveling overseas is MOP500,000.

4.2.6 Customer who has settled his/her payments with various types of cards (including Visa, MasterCard and BOC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card) while traveling overseas will be covered by the highest sum insured applicable.

4.3  Taiwan round-trip air tickets and other merchants

4.3.1 EVA AIR Round Trip (Macau – Taipei/Kaohsiung) air ticket discount is only applicable to bookings via Eva Air ticket-booking website and payment by BOC Credit Cards (Either Visa or MasterCard). 4.3.3 Discounts or Privileges are subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchants. Please contact the merchants for more details.

4.4 Employees of the Bank or its affiliated companies are not eligible for the Frequent Users Program.

4.5 Bank of China Macau Branch and the merchants reserve the right to revise, suspend and/or discontinue the offers and amend the terms and conditions stated herein. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank and the merchants shall be final.

4.6 In the event of any discrepancy between Chinese and English versions of　 these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
