Bank of China Macau Branch would like to draw the attention of the general public that a fraudulent email is being circulated in the name of Bank of China Macau Branch. Recipients of such email are requested to log in a fraudulent website via a hyperlink where the recipient is informed to change his/her personal information (including the PIN of his/her online banking account). The Bank reminds all customers should disregard such email if ever it is sent to your email account.
Such fraudulent email is “undersigned” by a staff member of Bank of China Macau Branch and requests the recipient to click on a hyperlink

Bank of China Macau Branch wishes to advise all customers to disregard this email if it is ever sent to you and never enter your information there. The Bank further remind all customers that they will not request any customer to enter your account numbers, account balance, PIN or any other personal information through an email. Customers should never try to log in to our online banking service via hyperlinks provided by an email or SMS message.
Bank of China Macau Branch has informed both Monetary Authority of Macao and the Judiciary Police of the Macao SAR of this incident and will keep track of this case. If customers have any doubt on any email received, please call BOC Service Hotline 888 95566 for enquiry.
