To further strengthen the appropriateness management of financial product distribution and after a prudent assessment of the product’s features and market risk factors, effective from August 10, 2026, the risk rating of our “HKD-FX Margin” product will be upgraded from “Medium-High Risk” to “High Risk”.

Following this adjustment, customers who wish to initiate new positions in the “HKD-FX Margin” product must complete an investment risk tolerance assessment, and their risk profile must match the product’s risk level before the transaction can be processed. Customers with existing positions are not affected and may continue to conduct closing and top-up transactions as usual.You may check your investment risk tolerance assessment through our mobile banking app, online banking, or by visiting any of our branches.
