On March 28, 2008, the Private Banking (Macau) of Bank of China was officially inaugurated in the Bank of China Building’s lobby.
LI Li Hui, the President of Bank of China, Francis Pak Yuen TAM , the Secretary of Economic and Finance of the Macau Special Administrative Region (S.A.R.), CHAN Kai Meng, the Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R., and Anselmo Lin Seng TENG, the Chairman of Monetary Authority of Macau S.A.R., YUE Yi, the Global Head of Personal Banking of Bank of China, and YE Yi Xin, the General Manager of Bank of China (Macau), as the Honorable Guests, held the opening ceremony. More than 200 Macau dignitary guests attended the ceremony.
LI Li Hui, the President of Bank of China, on behalf of the “Private Banking (Macau) of Bank of China” hit the gong as a signal of the grand opening. President LI emphasized that “Private Banking business is the highest level of individual financial business, since it enforces the full communication between the bank and the most wealthy for their investment and assets management. One of the bank’s individual financial strategies is to develope private banking business. Bank of China has not only accumulated a history of almost a hundred year in the financial industry of China, but also keep up the innovative spirit. President LI believes that the “Private Banking (Macau) of Bank of China will bring the new financial and investment platform and values to the Macau community under the support of the Macau S.A.R. Government and dignitaries.”
During the opening ceremony, six new Private Banking clients won the lucky draw for the “2008 Beijing Olympic Trip”. Each client will obtain “4 days 3 nights Beijing Olympic Package for double occupancy.” President LI also award of a BMW automobile as a prize for the “Elite Client.”
After the opening ceremony at the lobby, the guests went up to the 11th floor attending the unveiling ceremony of the “Private Banking (Macau) of Bank of China.” Francis Pak Yuen TAM, the Secretary of Economic and Finance and CHAN Kai Meng, the Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government accompanying with LI Li Hui, the President of Bank of China, and YUE Yi, the Global Head of Personal Banking of Bank of China implemented the ceremony. The guests enjoyed and appreciated the elegant facilities and designs of the thirteen meeting rooms which covering an area of 10,000 sq. ft.
