Natural disasters, war conflicts, climate change and soaring food price interplay to trigger sirens worldwide as the global hungry population hits 1 billion and this has attracted world-wide attention. In order to facilitate the general public's donations to support the "World Vision 2013 Macau Famine - Love never fail, famine no more" charity event ("Macau Famine"), Bank of China Macau Branch ("BOC") will now provide different channels through which the general public can donate until May 31, 2013, and handling fees are waived.
The general public can now donate at our various BOC branches. BOC customers can also donate through our bocapps, BOCNET (Personal) or BOC Express. Donating through the methods above is easy to operate: simply select "Donation" after logging in, then select "World Vision > Special Program > Macau Famine". Donating customers who would like a receipt please print the online transaction screen or keep the transaction slip of BOC Express, and dial 28352740 to contact World Vision 2013 - Macau Division for the official receipt.
The Macau Famine program will hold a series of events from February till May, 2013. Please actively participate to avoid the spreading of food shortages with your love.
