The 28th Macau Students Recital Contest has been held successfully on May 4 & 5, 2013 by The Chinese Educators Association of Macau (“EDUM”). The Prize Giving Ceremony has been held on June 15, 2013. Bank of China Macau Branch has sponsored this event for over 10 years non-stoppingly to show support for the local educational affairs.
Sometimes earlier, Ms Leong Kam-Leng, Branch Manager of the Ho Lan Yuen Sub-branch, and other representatives of Bank of China Macau Branch paid a visit to EDUM and were warmly welcomed by Ms Ho Sio-Kam and Chan Hong, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, and other members. The Hand-over Ceremony of the BOC Panda e-Wallet Cards was held during the meeting. Representative of EDUM thanked BOC for the continued support, while representatives of BOC promised to continuously fulfill the corporate social responsibility and to contribute to the better development of the education sector of Macau through various ways and by all means.
On the day of the Prize Giving Ceremony, Mr. Ip Sio-Kai and Mr. Chan Weng-Tat, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Director of Bank of China Macau Branch, Ms. Wong Kit-I, Branch Managers of Ko Si Tak Sub-branch and Ms. Leong Kam-Leng, on behalf of the Bank, gave prizes of 739 BOC Panda e-Wallet Cards in total to the winning students to show appreciation for their outstanding performances. Bank of China will donate 10% of the operating profit of the Panda Card to the Giant Panda Conservation Fund to show that we care about the conservation of the giant pandas.
