On February 23, 2013, pursuant to the profit sharing agreement, Bank of China Macau Branch donated MOP473,200, which is 1% of the total purchase payments made with the Charity Card, to Kiang Wu Charitable Association.
To undertake the corporate social responsibility, Bank of China agreed to donate 1% of the total purchase payments made with the Charity Card to Kiang Wu Charitable Association when the Charity Card launched. With much hard work of both parities, the Charity Card has been greatly welcomed by the general public. As agreed, Bank of China Macau Branch, represented by Mr. Ye Yixin, General Manager of the Macau Branch, presented the donation of MOP473,200, which is 1% of the purchase payments made with the Charitable Card by the general public during the period from October 28, 2011 to October 31, 2012, to Kiang Wu Charitable Association, represented by Mr. Liu Chak-Wan, President of the Association at the Spring Dinner hosted by the Association a few days ago.
