Do you know numerous children survive on food like locusts or wild fruits? Do you know eggs are a luxury many poor children rarely get? Do you know 1 in every 8 people in the world suffers chronic hunger?
"Macau Famine 2014" - "10-Hour Famine" by World Vision of Macau Association will be held on May 18, 2014 (Sunday) at Our Lady of Fatima Girls School Macau. The donation from this year’s Macau Famine will be used to support World Vision’s food security and development projects in needy areas around the world. Bank of China Macau Branch will continue to support this charitable event by providing various channels and waiving all handling fees.
The general public can now donate at our various BOC branches. BOC customers can also donate through BOC Mobile Banking, BOCNET(Personal) or BOC Express. Donations made through these channels are easy - simply select “Donation” after log in, then select “World Vision” > Special Program > “Macau Famine”. Donors who require a receipt please print the online transaction screen or keep the transaction slip of BOC Express, hand-deliver it to our office at Rua de Abreu Nunes No. 6, Edf. lao Lun, 1 Andar A, Macau or send by fax (No. 2835 2737) to World Vision 2014 - Macau Division for the official receipt.
