In support of the policy of the SAR government to encourage electronic payment and applications and in response to the request of Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (“IACM”), Bank of China Macau Branch (“BOC”) and IACM will jointly issue the “Friends of IACM Card” (“The Card”) jointly with IACM. This Card is an UnionPay e-Wallet Card and contains the basic information of members so that the members may present their Cards upon entry to facilities of IACM and use the Card to pay fees for the activities there. In order to make it possible for the general public to participate in the design of the Card, IACM and BOC will jointly hold the “Friends of IACM Card Design Competition” (“The Competition”).
1. Objective
The winner’s design of the“Friends of IACM” Card Design Competition will be used for The Card to be issued in an effort to promote the various kinds of membership offered by IACM in order to encourage greater use of the public service network and to foster interactions and communications.
2. Theme
The works must incorporate graphics symbolizing “Friends of IACM” or contain the logo of “Friends of IACM”. The design of the Card face has to reflect the multiple membership characteristic of the Card, i.e. as a proof of identity for various memberships offered by IACM, such as membership of the Activity Centers, Family of Good Citizens, Ambassador for Conservation of Nature and other memberships to be offered in the future, in order to promote the concept of IACM to provide diversified services continuously.

4. Eligible Entrants
Students Group: Secondary and tertiary students in Macau (Holders of valid Student ID)
Open Group: Macau Residents, aged 18 or above (Holders of valid Macau Resident ID)
5. Criteria
5.1 Must be a graphic design, vertical or horizontal, and double-faced. (Please refer to the Rules of the Competition for the specifications of the dimensions and the design of the Card).
5.2 The works must incorporate graphics symbolizing “Friends of IACM” or contain the logo of “Friends of IACM”. The design of the card face has to reflect the multiple membership characteristic of the Card, i.e. as a proof of identity for various memberships offered by IACM.
5.3 Must include a brief explanation of the design in no more than 100 words.
6. Rules
6.1 All submitted work must be original and has never been presented for any purposes before. Entrants who violate these official Rules, such as being found to contain plagiarized content & etc., will have to be solely responsible for all consequences, subject to disqualification from entry into the Competition and have to return all prize money or certificate awarded.
6.2 There is no limit on the number of entries each Entrants may submit; However, each Entrant is limited to be awarded one prize only.
6.3 To ensure impartiality during the judging process, Entrants should not sign on their work.
6.4 Winners must prepare the soft copy of their work in the image file (in high resolution) and burned the file onto a CD for the Organizer.
7. Submission Guideline
7.1 All Entrants must fill in an entry form and sign the related declarations. The works together with the entry form, the brief explanation of the work and a copy of the valid student or Macau resident ID must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked ““Friends of IACM” Card Design Competition”.
7.2 Entries must be submitted to the following locations :
Service Center IACM : Avenida da Praia Grande, 762-804, China Plaza Building, 2nd floor, Macau;
Center Services to the Public of North Zone : Rua Nova da Areia Preta, no.52, Service Center of Macao, r / c, Macau;
Center Services to the Public Islands : Rua da Ponte Negra, Social Bairro da Taipa, No. 75K, Taipa;
Center Services to the Public Central Zone : Rotunda Carlos da Maia, No. 5 &7, Complex Rotunda Carlos da Maia, 3rd floor, Macau;
Bank of China Macau Branch or any sub-branches.
7.3 All entrants will be given a souvenir offered by the Panda Fund.
8. Submission Periods
Entries must be submitted during office hours between the period from August 25, 2014 to September 26, 2014 (Based on the chop of the Organizer or the Co-organizers).
9. Results Announcement
Results will be announced on October 17, 2014 at the website of IACM (www.iacm.gov.mo), the Giant Panda Funds (www.macaupanda.org.mo), Bank of China Macau Branch (www.bocmacau.com) and on Macao Daily News. Winners will be notified individually.

Merit Award (5 winners) : MOP500 and a trophy

12. General Rules
12.1 All entrants must be holders of a valid student ID or a Macau resident ID.
12.2 By submitting the works, the Entrants assign the perpetual rights of the card face design to the Organizer. The Organizer has the right to modify, publish and/or use the design for promotional and/or other purposes.
12.3 All works submitted will not be returned.
12.4 By entering the Competition, all Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and the results of the competition;
12.5 Works that do not comply with these Criteria and Rules of the Competition will not be evaluated by the judging committee and will not be notified individual by the Organizer.
12.6 The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any damages, losses, incomplete or unclear information, delays or non-deliveries caused by any other parties.
12.7 The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the Competition, modify these Rules and disqualify any Entrant for inappropriate behavior.
12.8 The Organizer has the right to use the works in the issuance of the “Friends of IACM Card” as needed and to make the final decision on the use of the works.
