Thank you for banking with Bank of China. As we continuously strive to serve you better, we would like to inform you of some revisions to your Bank of China Credit Cards and/or MoneyPlus account and scheduled system upgrade that will take place from 6 – 8 September 2013.
System Upgrade Downtime
Please take note that some banking services will not be made available on your BOC Credit Cards and/or MoneyPlus accounts from 6 – 8 September 2013.

Card activation for overseas usage
In order to enhance your card protection, with effect from 7 September 2013, you would need to activate the magnetics tripe on your BOC credit cards for overseas use.
How to activate your BOC credit cards for overseas use?
1. Callour24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 18003385335(local) or +65 63385335 (overseas)
2. Press “3” for card activation for overseas use
3. Key in your 16 digit card number
4. Key in your 6 digit telephone PIN*
5. Press “3” for card activation & deactivation for overseas transactions
6. Press “1” to set your card activation period
7. Once confirm,your card will be activated for overseas use immediately!
*If you do not have or have forgotten your telephone PIN, you can call in to our 24-hr Customer Service Hotline at 18003385335(local) or +6563385335(overseas) to be issued with a new telephone PIN immediately.
Similarly if you would like to deactivate the card for overseas usage after your travels, you can follow the same card activation procedure and press “3” at step 6 to confirm for card deactivation.
Annual Fee Charges
With effect from 7 September 2013, the annual fee charges for all BOC Credit Cards will be revised to S$150 per annum for principal card and S$75 per annum for supplementary card.
