In order to optimize our branch network and enhance financial service efficiency, we would like to inform you that Bank of China Limited, Katong Sub-Branch, located at 188-192 East Coast Road, will cease operations from 1 May 2026. Counter services and safe deposit box services at this Sub-Branch will also cease on the same date. The arrangements for the cessation of services are as follows:
1. Counter Service Arrangements
With effect from 1 May 2026, customers who previously conducted counter transactions at Katong Sub-Branch may visit the following branches:
1) Bedok Sub-Branch
- 311 New Upper Changi Road, #B2-07 Bedok Mall, Singapore 467360
2) North Sub-Branch
- 133 Middle Road, BOC Plaza, Singapore 188974
3) Tampines Sub-Branch
- 10 Tampines Central 1, #B1-21/22 Tampines 1, Singapore 529536

2. Safe Deposit Box Arrangements
If you have a safe deposit box at Katong sub-branch, kindly remove all items from the safe deposit boxes and settle the outstanding rental fees by 30 April 2026. Boxes not cleared by 30 April 2026 will be handled according to the Bank’s terms and conditions.
Customers who wish to continue using safe deposit box services may apply for safe deposit box services at our Main Branch (Address: 4 Battery Road, Bank of China Building, Singapore 049908), subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
