Application Requirements
Applicants must be 16 or above to open a personal current account.
Applicants must be 18 or above and UK residents to apply for a debit card.
Application Procedures
1. Please download, complete and sign an ‘application form for personal account’. You can also request a paper form from any Bank of China (UK) Limited branch.
2. Please visit any of our branches with the application form and other required documents as set out below.
Required Documents
Valid identification *(e.g. your Passport or UK Driving Licence).
Proof of address* (e.g. a utility bill or bank/credit card statement dated within the last 3 months).

2. Please note that we cannot accept either mobile phone statements or bank statements printed from internet as sufficient proof of address.
