Asiamoney magazine announced days ago the results of its " Best Cash Management Banks in Asia 2004" poll, in which Bank of China was awarded "Best Overall Local Bank in China ". Details will be published in the June 2004 issue.
The award resulted from the Magazine's cash management poll which was sent to individuals working for listed companies, multinationals, SMEs and unlisted local companies across the Asia-Pacific region. The questionnaires were directed to individuals within treasury and finance departments with responsibility for their company's cash management business. Treasurers, finance managers and finance directors across the region participated this year and at last picked the best overall cash management bank in Asia and in 12 Asia-Pacific countries.
Criteria for choosing the winners included innovative cash management solutions, understanding of customer business requirements before recommending cash management solutions, after-sales customer services, corporate cash management outsourcing capabilities and internet banking services etc. Bank of China won the same award last year.
