Bank of China Wins 2005 China Marketing Innovation Award

Bank of China won 2005 China Marketing Innovation Award in 2005 China Marketing Forum hosted by CCTV and China Marketing the other day.

Bank of China, the only financial institution awarded in the Forum, had high remarks from the Judgment Committee saying that “marketing operations of the Bank in 2005 are of great uniqueness, novelty and innovativeness”. The Judgment Committee composed of famous experts in marketing spent three months in selecting and judging nearly 100 candidates from the dimensions of innovativeness, effectiveness and recognition, and Bank of China became one of the winners.

In the marketing operations in 2005, Bank of China launched a number of new products and brands such as Ideal Home, BOC Wealth Management and Olympics Credit Card, and improved the original products and services of corporate online banking and personal online banking. The Bank also made great efforts in initiating marketing patterns. During the May holiday, the Bank and Art Life of CCTV cooperated in a special way, which received a big round of applause within the advertising circle. Days ago, this case was introduced in Taiwan by CCTV and was well received as well.

In August, 2004, Bank of China Limited was established. It was a new practice and deep reform. In the past year, the Bank strengthened management and strived for progress in human resources, business development, product development and marketing. The winning of Marketing Innovation Award, the top prize in domestic marketing field, was recognition of the Bank’s ability in innovation. The Bank was the first state-owned commercial bank that had been awarded this honor and had the longest history among the enterprises that had ever been awarded. With a brand of one hundred years’ history, innovation had become Bank of China’s helpful and forceful weapon in the increasingly fierce competition.

Marketing sets a bridge between Bank of China and her customers, and the Bank with her professional personnel will strive for perfect services for the customers through product innovation.
