Recently, the selection result was released in the Annual Award Ceremony for 2005 Financial and Economic Award List jointly sponsored by China Securities Market Research and Design Center and Hexun Website. BOC Credit Card and Huijubao Wealth Management of Bank of China (BOC) won awards of “Most Welcomed Credit Card in 2005” and “Best Foreign Exchange Wealth Management in 2005” respectively.
The selection activities of “Annual Financial and Economic Award List” have been carried out for three times. In 2005, the domestic financialproducts continued to develop and became internationalized, playing a significant role in coordinating the economic and social developments, which would have long-lasting influences on the financial and economic fields. The structure of financial and economic sector kept changing and thus it became difficult for financial institutions to maintain and obtain customers. Only through customized products and excellent services could they have a good market share.
Focusing the demands of the public, this year’s awards were designed to cover banks, funds, insurance, futures, listed companies, etc. The selection was conducted through online voting so as to ensure equity and to embody the public wishes. The sponsors hoped that these activities shall stimulate financial and consulting institutions such as banks, securities, funds, insurance, futures, etc. to enhance service quality and improve the competitiveness of the whole financial sector.
