BOC Olympic Showcase was officially inaugurated on August 8 in the Olympic Green. Attending the inauguration ceremony are Chairman Xiao Gang, Senior Managements of the Bank, Global Heads of Corporate and of Personal Banking Business, persons-in-chief of relevant departments of the Head Office and about 200 VIP clients who would attend the Opening Ceremony of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Afterwards they visited the showcase accompanied by Xu Chen, General Manager of Olympic Affairs Department. During the visit, Chairman Xiao inquired about the showcase operation and calling for passion and good service manner to the upcoming tasks, so that the showcase can impress the audience and promote the Bank’s brand image.
The senior managements also guide VIP Clients to visit different parts of the showcase like “BOC’s history” and “’deliver excellence’ picture show”, and played the interactive electronic game “Challenge the Champions!” The VIP Clients all thought high of the appearance and contents of the showcase.
Situated besides the Olympic venues, BOC Olympic showcase drew large numbers of audience on its opening day. The number of visitors in 3 hours surpassed 1500, 50% more than expected. So far the showcase has exerted positive effect on BOC’s Olympic publicity and marketing campaign.
