As arranged by BOCOG, starting from 9 a.m., June 16th, Olympic tickets successfully purchased in Phase 1 and Phase 2 are ready for pickup through Bank of China ticket outlets previously selected by customers during the ticketing ordering process.
On the very morning, Heads from Olympic Affairs Department, Personal Banking Department and Beijing Branch inspected several ticket outlets. Thanks to adequate preparation and joint efforts of all parties concerned, the 144 ticket outlets in Beijing are all in proper order. A total of 9,939 customers have successfully obtained their memorial Olympic tickets on the first day for pickup.
As Beijing has a high number of customers, 63 outlets in the city implement a time allotment system for ticket pickup from June 16 to July 20. The affected customers are required to pick up their tickets within their designated dates (one week). Otherwise they may choose to visit the outlets during business hour from June 21 to August 24. For the other 81 outlets, customers may go to pick up their tickets during business hour at any day prior to August 24.
The ticket pickup window for customers in other parts of the country is from June 23 to August 24.
