Starting from mid June, Olympic tickets successfully purchased in Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be ready for pickup through Bank of China ticket outlets previously selected by customers during the ticket ordering process.
The ticket pickup window for customers in Beijing is from June 16 to August 24; and June 23 to August 24 for customers in other parts of the country.
When picking up tickets at the outlets, customers will be required to present their original IDs registered in the system. If the purchaser authorizes a third party proxy to pick up the tickets, the proxy needs to present both his/her own ID and the original ID the purchaser registered in the system.
As Beijing and Shanghai have a high number of customers, some outlets in these two cities will implement a time allotment system for ticket pickup. Beginning from June 10, BOCOG ticketing call center has started to notify affected customers of their designated pickup dates.
