On Dec. 22, 2004, Bank of China, Lenovo and Visa jointly issued BOC Lenovo Visa Olympic Credit Card, which carries the Chinese Seal, emblem of Beijing 2008 Games.
Hua Qingshan, BOC Vice-President remarked at the launching ceremony that Bank of China has long been enjoying a reciprocal cooperation with Visa International and Lenovo Group as well as a deep and close relationship with China’s sports cause. The launch of BOC Lenovo Visa Olympic Credit Card, a new product of BOC bank card line, also indicates a deepened level of collaboration between Bank of China and IOC, BOCOG, and Olympic worldwide partners like Visa International and Lenovo Group.
In addition to the standard functions offered by BOC Visa Olympic Credit Card, this newly launched card provides interest-free installment payment service when customers purchase Lenovo products at over 100 Lenovo diamond retail stores in Beijing and Shanghai. In the future, Bank of China and Lenovo will further explore their scope of cooperation and strive for better and enriched services.
