BOC Olympic tickets sales teleconference was held on April 2nd in Beijing. President Li Lihui and Executive Vice President Hua Qingshan both made remarkable speech on the conference, calling for immediate attention and proper arrangement for upcoming Olympic tickets sales through BOC networks and raising specific requirements for this important mission. Attending the conference in Head Office Tower are senior managements from the Head Office, General managements in charge of Olympic Affairs, Personal Banking and Security Division, persons-in-chief of business departments and of all ticket-selling outlets of Beijing Branch; Attending the conference across the country are General managements of tier-one branches, and persons-in-chief of all nation-wide ticket-selling outlets.
2008 Olympic tickets sales will be officially launched in April this year and BOCOG has designated and announced Bank of China as one of the main sales channels. Currently all BOC domestic branches are preparing themselves for this tough but honorable mission ahead. It draws global attention and assumes huge responsibility. Bearing this in mind, the Head Office decided to host the bank-wide teleconference to ensure the various branches to be well prepared for its successful implementation.
The conference plays a positive and important role in mobilizing the bank staff, clarifying the task, calling for close collaboration and improving services in the upcoming Olympic tickets sales.
