The Organizing Committee of the 12th National Games of the People’s Republic of China ("12th National Games" for short) recently held the partner signing ceremony, where Bank of China officially became its sole banking partner. The 12th National Games are another high-level, influential and comprehensive sporting event sponsored by the Bank of China following the successful sponsorship of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Third Asian Beach Games 2012.
Li Jun, chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Bank of China, said at the signing ceremony that, as China’s only bank with a century of continuous operation, Bank of China has firmly focused on the strategic objective to grow into a world-class multinational banking group, has adhered to a development model oriented toward innovation, restructuring and cross-border operation, and has vigorously promoted its global services and operating capabilities; as a result, its various businesses have undergone sound and rapid development, and the Bank has developed into a Chinese commercial bank with the highest level of international diversified operations. While striving to promote rapid development, Bank of China also actively performs its social responsibilities and continues to serve, contribute to and repay society. As a partner of the 12th National Games, Bank of China will engage in unified planning, careful organization and detailed arrangements, so as to provide comprehensive financial services for the event.
The National Games is a sporting event of the highest level and the greatest influence in China, and the 12th National Games will be held in Liaoning Province in September 2013.
