Recently, Bank of China issued the Globe-in-One UnionPay Dual-currency Debit Card in Cambodia, which was the first bank card issued by a Chinese-funded bank in this country.
The card is tailored for Chinese Cambodians, Chinese and Cambodian business persons, may simultaneously be linked to USD accounts and RMB ones, and adopts the UnionPay service network, thus providing a convenient environment for cardholders. Cardholders may enjoy such services as over-the-counter trading, pay by card in commercial tenants with special engagement and ATM cash service via the network of Bank of China or UnionPay.
The issuance of the International UnionPay Dual-currency Debit Card has received positive response in the country, and over 200 cards were issued on the first date of issuance.
